The Visually Impaired Computer Society of Ireland (VICS) is a voluntary organisation, providing information, training, support and advice to blind and visually impaired individuals in the area of Information and Communications Technology. You can read more information about vics and the current activities of the society.
We encourage debate from our members in order to help them improve their computer skills. Therefore, VICS provides an email list for Blind and visually impaired technology users in Ireland. This list enables members to ask technology related questions and receive help from their fellow members. The list archives are open to both members and non-members. However, you must be a VICS member to be able to post to the list. You can find out more details on how to become a member on the membership page.
This site is being activly developed but you can view information on the society from the links on the side bar. Check back over the next while as the site will be expanded with additional content over the next few months.
If VICS members have any suggestions on what they would like to see on the site, please contact one of the committee members listed on the contact us page on the main menu.
